Mesurer l’usure d’une chaîne au ruban ou à l’œil laisse trop de place à l’erreur, jusqu’au jour où cette erreur finit par coûter cher.
Complete leaf chain assemblies help forklift OEMs reduce handling, improve traceability and streamline production with cut-to-length, validated systems ready for installation.
Two leaf chains can look almost identical when new, yet one will wear, elongate and fail months before the other for reasons no visual inspection will ever catch.

Current regulations require the leaf chain to be replaced at 3% elongation (wear). A longer chain life would result in lower ownership costs and, over time, fewer leaf chain being made, with all the associated reduction in CO2.
Understanding the mechanical properties of materials is crucial to ensuring the safety and longevity of the leaf chain. Two fundamental concepts often need to be considered: fatigue strength and tensile strength.
The Safety Net of Preventative Maintenance: In industries like manufacturing, construction, and warehousing, heavy-lifting equipment is the backbone of daily operations. However, what happens when that critical piece of equipment fails? The consequences can be severe, leading to: Preventative Maintenance: A Proactive Approach FB Leaf Chain’s preventative maintenance tools empower
